IT’S TIME!
For quite several years I have been hearing that revival is coming to New England. This is something that has been declared by God’s people in this area but has also been said by others outside the region, throughout our nation, and in other parts of the world. Some may ask, Why New England? I would ask, why not New England? In the early part of our history as a nation God moved mightily throughout this region during the Great Awakening by using men like Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This was an era of revival that brought about an awareness of the holiness of God and our need to live a life in right standing with Him as it is written in Psalm 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable unto in thy sight”. I am clearly convinced that God’s not finished yet. In fact, I believe that revival is happening as we speak. God is touching the hearts of people this very moment and we are seeing them come to Christ who is their only hope. There is no ON/ OFF switch for revival; Jesus said that the harvest is ready in John 4:35. He said this during a great revival that took place in a city of Samaria where many people believed because of the testimony of a woman that did not have a good reputation. It’s time for revival; let’s not wait for a special sign from heaven to appear. People are tired of their sins and always coming up empty handed. They long for something that is genuine and have lasting effects and only the power of God can do that. Jesus has already indicated that the harvest is ready right now.

Hace unos cuantos años en que he oído de que viene un avivamiento para Nueva Inglaterra. Es algo que ha sido declarado por los siervos de Dios en esta área, pero también fuera de esta región, a través de todos los estados, y en otras partes del mundo también. Algunos se preguntarán, ¿por qué en Nueva Inglaterra? Yo pregunto, ¿Por qué no en Nueva Inglaterra? Muy temprano en nuestra historia como nación surge un mover poderoso de Dios en esta área conocido como el Gran Avivamiento por medio de hombres que Dios uso como Jonathan Edwards y Jorge Whitefield en la proclamación del evangelio de Cristo. Esta era de avivamiento desarrollo una consciencia de la santidad de Dios y la necesidad nuestra de vivir una vida en rectitud con El cómo está escrito en el Salmo 19:14 –Sean gratos los dichos de mi boca y la meditación de mi corazón delante de ti-. Estoy claramente convencido de que Dios no ha terminado. Es más, creo que el avivamiento está operando en este mismo instante. Dios tocando el corazón de muchos y los estamos viendo venir a Cristo que es su única esperanza. No hay un interruptor ON/OFF de avivamiento; En Juan 4:35Jesus dijo que la siega esta lista. El dijo esto mientras se llevaba a cabo un gran avivamiento en una de las ciudades de Samaria donde muchos habían creído por causa del testimonio de una mujer que no tenía una buena reputación entre los ciudadanos. Es tiempo para avivamiento; no podemos esperar que aparezca una señal especial del cielo. La gente está cansada de la vida pecaminosa y del vacío constante que produce. Anhelan algo genuino y duradero y solamente el poder de Dios ofrece eso. Jesús ya lo ha indicado, la siega esta lista ahora
