July 2022 NEWSLETTER WE WILL NOT BE MOVED – Pastor Juan Feliciano

Recently I preached a sermon entitled “Keep Doing Good” which was based on a scripture taken from Galatians 6:9 in which Paul exhorts us not to grow weary in so doing. The premise was that if we are exhorted to exhibit positive Godly like behavior it is because the circumstances of our lives can, if fact, takes us down a path in which we feel weakened and begin to lose the hope we have been given by God through our Lord Jesus Christ. The scripture gives us the hope of strength through God’s power available to us on a daily basis. When we focus on the media that we are bombarded with constantly, the outlook may seem bleak at best. The news we have been hearing lately may even have us question if there is hope for America. Well, the answer to the question is, of course! We are admonished to pray for those who are in authority, kings, government leaders, presidents, etc. (1Tim. 2:2). We are also informed that the results of our prayers will be peace, quietness and Godliness. This scripture is powerful enough for us to know that we do not have to be moved in our faith. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and wants to work on behalf of His people that call on His name for intervention. All we have to do is talk to the people on the streets and we will learn that the policies set in motion from our government have done nothing to change the lives of people who need the LORD. Nothing can free us from the bondage of sin except the blood of JESUS! This is why the answer is only found in Him and you and I know and have the answer. We will not be moved!
