HE HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD!

            The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is a central fact of our Christian history. On this fact, the church is built today; without it, there would be no Christian church today. The resurrection of Jesus is unique. Other religions have strong ethical systems, concepts about the afterlife and paradise, and various Holy Scriptures. Only in Christianity do we find a God who became human, literally died for His people, and was raised from the dead in power and glory to rule His church forever, amen! Because Christ was raised from the dead, we know that the kingdom of heaven has broken into earth’s history. Our world is now headed for redemption and not disaster. God’s mighty power is at work destroying sin, creating new lives, and preparing us for Jesus’ second coming. This is why He said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me” (John 14:1). We must not wallow in the present dismal condition of our world today but rather observe the countless lives that are currently being changed and transformed by the resurrection power of Jesus. He is alive today and very much at work!

¡EL RESUCITO ENTRE LOS MUERTOS!

            La resurrección de Jesús entre los muertos es un hecho central en nuestra historia cristiana. Sobre este hecho, la iglesia es fundada hoy día; sin él, no habría una iglesia cristiana. La resurrección de Jesús es única. Otras religiones tienen firmes sistemas éticos, conceptos de la vida venidera y el paraíso, y varias escrituras sagradas. Solo en el cristianismo encontramos un Dios que se hizo humano, literalmente murió por los suyos, y fue resucitado entre los muertos con poder y gloria para gobernar sobre Su iglesia por siempre ¡amen! Ya que Cristo ha sido levantado entre los muertos, sabemos que el reino de los cielos ha penetrado la historia humana. Nuestro mundo ahora se dirige hacia la redención y no el desastre. El poderío de Dios está efectuando la destrucción del pecado, creando nuevas vidas, y preparándonos para la segunda venida de nuestro Señor Jesús. Es por esta razón que Él dijo –No se turbe vuestro corazón, creéis en Dios, creed también en Mi- (Juan 14:1). No debemos solamente pensar en la condición caída de nuestro mundo actual, más bien debemos observar el sinnúmero de vidas que actualmente están siendo transformadas por el poder de la resurrección de Jesús. ¡Él está vivo y definitivamente obrando hoy día!
